Fun Stuff

One of the challenges at Digital Whisper was to create a piece of art in the style of Teesha Moore using a provided starter image.  I had so much fun with this because it's such a different style than I'm using to doing.  My wonderful husband gave me a Wacom tablet for my birthday so I got to doodle around and play.  This challenge was a great wake-up call to play more!

The Open Road ...

Each of us is on our own road in life -- who knows where it will take us?  I guess this piece reflects my feeling of not being too tied down to life being a certain way.  You never know where that pothole is and there could be major road work ahead.  I think we just need to be open to different paths and see where the journey takes us ...

Digital Whisper 100 Themes Challenge

I belong to a digital art group called Digital Whisper.  Each week there is a theme to design around, and it's challenging to get creative.  There is a new challenge for the 2011, however, and Kimmie has created a 100 Themes Challenge to be completed within the year.  We can complete the themes in whatever order we wish and whatever size we want.  This will really keep me on my creative toes this year!  This is what I have submitted so far:

Welcome to My Blog!

I've asked myself the question so many times over the past few years:  what would I attempt to do if I knew I would not fail?  And here it is:  I would put my digital art out in the world and in turn see if I could show people how they can see their own photos in a different way. 

So this blog will be a place to show my art in my world and also pieces that I have created for others.
